Heard PR partners with The Duke of Edinburgh Awards
With just 5% of business owners aged between 20-34, the new Young Business Hustler Award was created to give entrepreneurial Duke of Ed Award participants the chance to make their business dreams a reality.
Heard PR partnered with BigThink! Business Booster and Duke of Ed to spread the news of the campaign, which aimed to leverage the initiative, motivation, passion and persistence all Awardees display and apply these traits as an entrepreneur.
Duke of Ed Award participants between 18-25 years old were invited to pitch their existing business or business idea to a panel of expert entrepreneurs. Two winners will soon be selected to receive a 12-month BIGthink! Baby Booster Program valued at $12,870 each.
Heard achieved coverage in the Herald Sun for the award, reaching hundreds of thousands of Melbournians.
